A variant of our Breakfast of Champions. It starts with a smoky-bacon and chipotle pepper aroma. The addition of dried, chopped Carolina Reaper peppers gives you an immediate sensation of heat and peppery flavor that lingers for a few minutes but isn’t overly painful and mellows quickly.

Draft pour into a shaker style glass at the brewery.
L: Clear deep red/amber, a touch darker than Breakfast of Champions (it’s base beer), thin off white head has medium retention.
S: Mild strength nose, light caramel malt, ale yeast fruity esters and hints of fresh hot peppers.
T: Fresh hot pepper flavor over caramel malt, with a fresh and lightly sweet cucumber/prickly pear-like flavor popping up just before hot pepper takes over.
F: Medium body, fairly crisp, fairly strong capsaicin heat starts in the throat and heats all the way down eventually, small underlying creamy feel.
O: This one is pretty hot, to me anyway, definitely worth a try but proceed with caution.
