More pale ale than cream ale, lots of floral hops, still light and refreshing though

this one is pretty darn plain jane to me, tasty and all, but that is more or less their thing here i think, simple beers, basic styles, made technically very well. i mean, this is fine cream ale by any measure, most importantly in overall quality, i have not had an objectively bad beer from these guys ever i dont think, but its also really unexciting, and i got more flavor even out of their house lager than i did from this one on our visit to their taproom. sure it has a cold conditioned crispness that i think the style needs, and it does have a fresh dry crackery grain flavor, but there isnt much else happening here, and while i like it, its also totally one dimensional as they go, and with maybe a little more body than it needs to have if it wants to maximize drinkability. i have a lot of respect for these guys, but i had higher expectations for this one, i thought it might be a new summer fridge beer, but there just isnt enough here to keep me excited through even a single six pack...

Love the orange peel taste and texture.
