Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours deep red with a fluffy off white head. Smells of caramelized grain with some citrus hop notes. Tastes of caramelized grain, fresh fruit, and slight citrus. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.

Can. Khaki head. Copper amber color.
Malty, biscuity, toasted crackers, bread, caramel. Earthy and zesty hops. Can’t really pick up on the dry hopping. A very mediocre beer.

One finger nearly creamy tan head that fades away quickly. This sits atop a medium brown strong tea colored beer that is almost totally opaque.
Nose hints at roasted caramel malt and a bit of molasses.
On the palate first impression is that it is watery, dry toasted malt, and little no to sweetness. Hints at a light medicinal or lightly bitter brown licorice hop notes. Tastes like a watered down stout or brown ale.
Mouthfeel is light to medium body with light carbonation. It finishes dry and clean (yet watery).
Overall a bit of a disappointment for me. The hops dry out what malt is there to the point that it has no malt character aside from the dark flavor of roasted grain. Reminds me of a watery dry Dunkel. Edit: Upgraded taste .25 pt as I am getting a bit less bitter hops and understanding the concept a bit more on second tasting.

On tap at The Kitchen (Boulder, CO), served in a nonic pint glass. Cloudy amber brown with a rocky head of tan foam and sticky lace. Aromas of citrus, floral and earthy hops, and some toasted malts. Flavor proceeds relatively dry with a nice malty, nutty base, balanced by some pine and grapefruit hop notes. Medium body with moderate carbonation. A very drinkable amber that leans dry and nutty, with nice hoppy notes.

Can at The Kitchen, Denver, CO
A: The beer is light amber in color and has no visible carbonation. It poured with a short light beige head that left lots of thick lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light aromas of citrusy and floral hops are present in the nose along with hints of malts.
T: The taste is a bit maltier but still has underlying notes of citrusy and floral hops from the dry hopping, which also contributes a light to moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is easy to drink and seems to be a little more balanced between the malts and hops compared to other beers in the style.

L:. Pours a cloudy Amber orange with a medium white head and thick lacing around the glass.
S:. Sweet citrus, some pine, caramel, and nut.
T:. Citrus, so e pine, caramel, and nut, quite a bit of bitterness for an Amber. Fairly hoppy too.
F:. Smooth carbonation medium body.
O:. Quite hoppy for an Amber, but quite nice.

this is well made beer, all of them are in this place, but it really didnt move me much, because i think it oversells the dry hop aspect. this is just amber ale to me, hardly hoppy at all, especially in the aroma where i expect the dry hopping to really make itself obvious, but in the aroma of this its all rich red malt, sweet and earthy and cooked, conventional and without much from the hops aside from a light orangey citrus note that doesnt make it all that different. its hard to be critical though, amber ale rarely moves me much, and i would drink pints upon pints of this one, it has a deeper malt complexion than many, drying minerals, dried berries or even apples, a toasted warmth but also a refreshing aspect built in, the relative absence of hops bothers me less because this is really good even without that. i do see where a bigger, brighter, citrus hop profile would make this nice, and how even some bitterness would be welcomed for balance, but this is pretty dry and drinkable as it is, especially for the style. im glad i finally made it in here, good beers and good times!

I'm sorry, I know I'm not supposed to call someone out, but... @Cfcairns, just because it says dry hopped on it doesn't make it an IPA, I don't understand your low marks (excuse the speculation). Make no mistake, this is an amber ale, and a solid one at that. The hop character is not shy, but is still balanced well with the malt character to make a light and easy drinking, semi sweet amber with a dry, crisp finish. It actually kind of reminds me of a north coast red seal with a dry finish for a comparison. I'm a fan of everything this brewery does which is a hard thing to come by. Don't sleep on finkel and garf.
