No dating on the can.
Pours a clear mahogany with an off white head of foam, close to a finger of it.
Smell is of caramel malt, figs, cookie dough, a mild astringency that almost suggests tartness, like in various fruits.
The taste is sweet from the caramel, has figs, cookie dough, brown sugar, light astringency/tart fruitiness, and a flavour that reminds me of oxidation. Very warming as well.
It gets sweeter as it warms, figs grows in strength as does the alcohol.
Close to full bodied with good carbonation despite not hearing much of a fizz when I opened the can.
This is good.
