16 fl oz can:
Resinous to the point of being both oily and (pleasantly) scraping on the palate, but the absence of concomitant pine leaves this a bit empty. There's some floral hop flavour too and a bit of flimsy tropical character, but the emergence of obvious boozy warmth mid-palate clashes with the beer's hop flavour to ill effect, finishing the beer on an unpleasant note.
Not a top tier IIPA even by Colorado standards (nevermind the larger markets for competition), and in a category this overcrowded you've got to be better to be competitive.
I'd sooner buy Lagunitas' Lagunitas Sucks.

This is definitely good but I feel it could be a smidge polarizing, I could see some really loving this and others feeling kind of like me where it's definitely but good but you know it could be better. Solid offering!
