16oz can served in a big snifter. 08.01.18. I think given to me by @mr-jj.

Pours hazy and pale golden, medium head and medium carbonation. Smell is resinous, piney, and juicy.

Taste is boozy, dense, bitter as hell. This is definitely a DIPA, brah.

Mouthfeel is heavy but not sticky, dry and resinous. Overall, rock solid but not stellar. Definitely worth a try.

This beer pours a very hazy orange amber color with golden highlights throughout. The head is massive, rocky and off white. Retention is excellent and there are many thin whispy rings of lacing left on the glass.

The smell is very tropical mango, tangerine and pineapple with botanical and floral gin notes in the background, some sweet malts and a touch of alcohol.

Taste is similar, but the gin and alcohol burn are much more apparent and kind of muddle the hop flavors.

Feel is full side of medium and sticky with moderate carbonation.

Overall this is a very solid beer. I kind of think the gin barrels are unnecessary though. It seems like a very good base beer that ends up being muddled by the gin barrels.

This beer really delivers. Crystal clear looks with a light golden yellow hue. Nose is all gin with none of the soapy notes. Hops are unfront with a little bitterness to cut through the gin notes that are floral and refreshing. Little berry notes of sweetness. One of the best uses of gin barrels I have experience.
