Appearance: light brown in color with a 1/2" head that lasted a while.
Smell: some malt and brown sugar sweetness are easily detectable.
Taste: mild grainy malt profile with some toffee, brown sugar, raisins, a bit of alcohol, and an earthy bitterness.
Mouthfeel: medium bodied beer. Lightly crisp to start, smoother at the finish.
Overall: nice to see a malt-focused beer among all the hop forward beers. Enjoyable and easy to drink despite the higher ABV.
