Appearance is striking with the most coppery red color and piles of long-lasting off-white foam in the Dogfish Head IPA glass. Big hop aroma with citrus and candied grapefruit peel in the nose. Orange marmalade with whiskey taste. Full bodied and definitely sweet.
Warm and cedary with a sharp tang that veers toward the acidic. Clean and well made. Moderate bitter aftertaste with dark wood and some resins. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Mayfair Liquors in Denver. Nice label too.

Dark amber body; thick, frothy head; clinging sheets of foam along the glass. Spicy aroma; rye and pine with some citrus. Zesty, grainy flavor; dull peppermint and anise; bitter. Heavy body; creamy; very dry finish.
An unusual yet very satisyfing IIPA. Lots of intense, zesty flavors with a keen overarching hop bite. The mouthfeel is
rich and smooth. Unique in many ways and most enjoyble.

One of the most flavorful, delicious beers I've had in a while. It was very unique in taste. The flavor overpowered the hops, which is tough to do! I would get this beer over and over again if I went to this brewery regularly.
