16 oz can dated 2/25/19, finally getting around to this one.

Boiler snifter
Cola colored pour that develops into chocolate, with a tall creamy head of 1 finger, beige, leaving lots of lace behind.
Aroma is rich bourbon, molasses, chocolate, vanilla pods, cocoa, and whiskey.
Flavor is a bit weak, brings some bourbon and wood but faintly, almost like it was flavored and not aged. The stout base is kind of cola-like, with hints of earthiness and chocolate sweetness. Faint oak and more earth. Whiskey hotness finishes out the profile. Reminds me of a Lexington product.
Feel is creamy like a nitro and a bit on the thin side. Roasty profile, nice alcohol burn, slight dryness.
Overall a bit underwhelming and weak, but it's a nice stout in general for a one-off on a night like tonight.

I tried this beer at the brewery whilst in Maine on vacation. It poured an opaque dark with bourbon and chocolate notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bourbon, fig and chocolate presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body with smooth carbonation. Overall its a solid beer.
