A pink-hued, cloudy ale that will refresh your palette in the summer. But don't wait for summer in Alaska to try this great fruit ale.

On draft on location. Big billowing head with raspberries dominating the nose. Wheat notes. Lively and bubbly on the palate. Great drinkability. Super refreshing.

On tap at Humpy’s in the Anchorage airport. This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance was a nice looking hazy amber to red color with a bar pour’s kind of slim white head that dissipated within seconds. Light stringy lacing slid down at a nice pace. The smell had a good authentic raspberry up front, nice and lively. The taste was the same carrying a light wheaty bite in the aftertaste and finish. On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was a bit lowered but shows no concern given the wheat plays a bigger part to even the beer out. Overall, I say this was a pretty good raspberry wheat ale that I would have again.

I don't know why but I don't go too crazy for raspberry ales very often, they sometimes come off as medicinal and this isn't that bad but it's close. I'd prefer it be more sour.

For a raspberry wheat, this is very good. While not my typical beer, I actually tried some of my gifriends, and found it very tart and forward with the raspberry but underneath was a very solid wheat beer flavor lingering just long enough to notice once the berry flavor faded some. Not bad for a fruit beer.

aside from lambics, this is the best raspberry BEER, ive ever had, poured cloudy reddish pink. little to no head, yet suffficiently carbonated. at first taste the sweetness and tart wild alaska raspberry flavor may make some pucker, but drink on and youll find this beer is incredibly smooth. so much raspberry taste its like it has seeds in it. great experience and a great brew. available on tap and in growlers. strongly reccommended.
