Looks a dark murky color with no head or lacing. Smells sweet and tastes like cough syrup. Mouthfeel is thin. Can’t get through more than four sips.
I’ve never returned a beer before, but I did this time, and the bartender wasn’t surprised. Months later, my friend ordered one without warning, and the same thing happened! Please tweak this recipe! All your other beers are incredible! Thanks for what you do!

I placed this beer under Red Flanders because I felt it was most appropriate.
From the brewer: This beer is a new take on the long-standing Oud Bruin style from Flanders in Belgium. Sour with a malty backbone and an oaky finish.
Dark enough brown to prevent light from passing through the center. Moderate head which leaves temporary lace on the glass.
Sweet and sour in equal measures. Some darker toast as well.
Pretty close to the Flemish Red but with an interesting twist of subtle chocolate malt. It finishes sour with balancing sugar to keep it from becoming lip-puckering.
