If you enjoy big, complex Imperial IPAs, then this beer's for you. This is no hop bomb. We've strived to achieve a delicate balance between hop bitterness and malty sweetness.

Poured from a 12 oz can. Couldn’t find a date on it but it tasted fresh enough.
Pours a shiny, dark copper color with an off-white head. Started about 1.5 fingers but did recede somewhat quickly. Light lacing. Darkest IPA of any kind that I have ever seen.
Aroma is actually quite sweet and malty with some booze, but there is plenty of hops and citrus too.
Taste follows the nose, but there is an earthiness and extra booze quality that is more present than in the smell alone. IBU is high, but the bitterness isn’t overpowering at all. Very well balanced. Finish is medium to long and hoppy.
Pleasant mouthfeel. Low carbonation, somewhat full-bodied but not super heavy, smooth texture. I was expecting it to be overly syrupy on appearance alone but it isn’t. Drinks like a 7.5ish%
Overall - I am interested to try more from these guys. I have had the milk stout before a few years ago but I haven’t seen much else. Good beer. Maybe not good enough to go out of one’s way to get, but worth the time if it is available.

The darkest IPA I have ever had, almost a brown. Light off white head. The smell is not as strong as some IPAs, but comes through with the expected grapefruit, citrus, and piney scents. The taste delivers all the same without too much bitterness. Very complex with lots of malty sweetness and earthiness to balance out the hops. Great beer!

Pours an effervescent copper with 2+ fingers of sand colored head. Great lacing & head retention
S: Breadyness & not much else
T: Breadyness, a little pineyness, a little mango & some biscuitty malt dryness up front. Woody hops & dryness as this warms, a little more pineyness & tangerine peel, plus grapefruit. Finishes with biscuitty malt, pine & grapefruit. Finishes sweet, bready, pine & with a with a little grapefruit
MF: Fairly chewy, slight carbonation, skew a touch malty
Not a bad DIPA, drinks easy, good balance. Easily the best beer I've had from these guys

Draft pour with light lacing. Deep amber, copper color. Overly sweet nose and slight hops aroma. Taste is mostly malt with hop presence but sweet. Might be a good IPA for some but not me.

Great characteristic color of an IPA. Only available in keg right now but head was good with moderate lacing. Piney but balanced flavor. Very good overall, hope Iron Monk brings it to bottle soon, it's certainly good enough and I think it would do well

Poured on tap into a pint glass.
Great deep dark golden hue with minimal lacing.
More malty than hoppy but the ABV is well hidden.
Good beer, glad to try local stuff

On tap. Poured into a 22 oz glass. Dark amber color with a massive tan head that leaves lacing halfway down the glass. Aroma of aggressive floral and citrus hops, with a subtle note of caramel. The citrus hops hit first, followed by a body of roasted malt and caramel, with a boozy finish where the floral hops shine. Heavy body with light carbonation and a boozey aftertaste. The hops at the beginning are definitely bitter but eased by the body. It worked but it was a little weird.
The bitterness from the citrus hops were slightly overwhelming and the not quite sweet body offered a needed reprieve. I really liked the malt and hop finish, but the bitterness can't be ignored.
