12 fl oz can nabbed for $1.25 as a single at Bartlesville Wine & Spirits, Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Canned 02/24/21.

"Sour ale brewed with boysenberries & black currants." 4.4% ABV.

Wheat. Lactobacillus. Berry flavour. Balanced enough, but it lacks impressive depth of flavour and isn't particularly sour...maybe a 3-4/10 in terms of sourness. Acidic, sure, but not all that sour or even tart.

Quenching and drinkable, though, and better than I expected given it's a $1.25 can of sour ale from an brewery in Oklahoma. Wouldn't buy it again, but it's a nice little beer for what it is even if the boysenberry doesn't pop.

From a growler to a stout glass. Pours a hazy golden-toned purple with a fingernail white head that is well carbonated but doesn't leave lacing. Nose of lactic acid and tart berries. Taste is dark berries (boysenberries), pale malt, and a puckering sour. Light body and medium carbonation.
The boysenberry helps with the sour, but it's still puckering rather than tart. It's a different ingredient to put in the beer, but the dark berry does sneak through. Simple but successful sour. A big improvement from their first attempt at a sour.
