I had this on tap at the Bricktown Brewery in Oklahoma City, OK. It was a simple, well-made amber ale. There was nothing special about it, but also no flaws. Very light and drinkable, but it still had good flavor.

Appearance:
Beautiful ruby.

Aroma:
The best ketchup and French fries. Fig. Almost Carmel.

Mouthfeel:
Light. Well carbonated. Clean.

Taste:
Not too flavorful. Some wood note.

Overall:
Probably goes really great with a burger and fries!
Like a craft, slightly higher quality yeungling.

I had this beer on-tap in a tumbler at the brewery in Stillwater.

Appearance: medium amber hue with a nearly-clear body and a thin layer of ivory foam atop.

Smell: caramelly and perhaps even a bit nutty aroma that’s light in intensity, but well-composed.

Taste: lightly sweet malt with a nice caramel character and an earthy bitterness. This is actually a pretty solid amber — the malt isn’t too biscuity for me, and the 4% ABV limits the sweetness. Not bad at all.

Mouthfeel: medium-light body with a good carbonation and decent creaminess.

Overall: as ambers go, this is pretty good! I like that it’s easy drinking and not too heavy.

Poured from a 12 oz can:

Pours a dark amber color with a reddish hue. Head is off-white, fades quickly. No lacing.

Aroma is malty, caramel, and sweet. Taste follows the nose. There’s a bit of hops in there to balance the sweetness a bit, but the sweet malts aren’t overpowering.

Feel is actually quite bold given it’s only 4% ABV. Carbonation is on the low side.

Overall, nothing special for me, but a good session amber.

Excellent Amber. Lots of great flavor, yet very drinkable, as an Amber should be. Perfect Amber color, nose is good for an Amber, taste is excellent with perfectly balanced malts. Feel is full for an Amber, yet extremely drinkable. Get a six pack and walk around Stillwater on a game day.

Poured from a can into a glass. This is a very low alcohol beer (FYI, it would have been a legal 3 point beer under Oklahoma's old law as 4.0 ABV is 3.2 ABW) and is tasty for what it is, a sweetish sessionable red/amber beer.

The aroma is rich and malty with some caramel notes. Flavor is too sweet for me. Mouthfeel is thin.
