Dark Brown with some clarity, Red when you hold up to the light. Smells like toasts and caramel and roasted coffee beans. Tastes woody or willow-y, but in a good way. Tastes a little scotchy or boozy. For some reason we are sneezing a lot when we drink this- not sure what that's about but not necessarily a negative. Feels a little soupy but not too bad, has good drinkabilty. Overall a solid brown ale. Would definitely have again and would be nice with dinner or when you just want to lay back and watch a movie.
