Tap at the brewery.
Pours opaque black, no light penetration. Tan film for a head.
Aroma is of roasted coffee beans, cocoa, a hint of vanilla, and a woody finish.
Flavor is of coffee, nuts, and a smokey finish. The coffee isn't acidic, just roasty. Maybe a whisper of a lactose sweetness.
Medium body with low carbonation.
Decent espresso stout, solid across the board. While very good, it would otherwise not be memorable, but the coffee addition is actually very well done here. It takes this beer from just another stout to something that you will think about later. Definitely nice to have that added coffee flavor with thinning out the beer or adding too much acidity.

Mild roasted tones. Is this really a milk stout? Kind of tastes like it. Almost a sweet edge to things. A pleasant drinker.
