Served on draft. Golden straw color, not much head to speak of. Aroma is mainly a medium malt biscuit with some spice. Strong if unexceptional taste, hits all the right notes for the style - black pepper, clove, banana. Finishes crisp and clean. Overall a very solid offering.

Tap at the brewery.

Pours a clear amber gold, white lacing for a head.

Aroma is of clover honey and grassy malts. Maybe some lemongrass.

Grassy malt flavor with a light floral hop and bit of a berry fruitiness.

The body is on the fuller side of medium with stinging carbonation on the roof of the mouth.

Very solid ale, hints of Belgian influence but also noticeable American influence. The aroma is very enjoyable and the flavor is quite good. Pleasant and easy to enjoy.

This is a nice belgian ale. Hints of, instead of obnoxiously obvious, yeasty sweetness and a mild bread tone. This is what Blithe started off as until it got too big for its britches, imo.
