Was actually impressed with this one for a blonde ale it was both smooth and teaming with plenty of coffee flavor! What made this a winner with the above average ABV at almost 6% and how smooth it drank even though I had it slightly warm on an 82 degree day. Would get it again!

Nice lighter bodied blonde ale with a mild coffee flavor. Bread malt also comes through. Dry finish.

Thanks again for gifting me with this Tommyguz. Can into a tumbler appears clear copper with a white head that fades leaving patchy lace.
Aroma is kinda earthy, kinda fruity and pretty mild. Taste is somewhat sweet with grain, mild butter and coffee nuance before a touch of bitterness in the finish.
Medium in body with modest carbonation. Not terrible but not good either.

Pours orangeish dark gold. Foamy, short, white head lasts shortly to a ring. Light lacing.
Smells light fresh coffee, caramel malt and light earthy bitterness.
Tastes Caramel malt, toasted malts and hint of coffee. Followed by earthy bitterness and light coffee. Finish is dry with an earthy linger. Lighter body and creamy medium carbonation.

12 oz pour on tap
First off this is not an amber ale at all it is a blonde ale infused with coffee have no idea how it got mislabeled on here.
A: gold in body with excellent clarity head was a tiny bubbled affair that disappeared quickly.
S: lots of roasted coffee some doughy breads a little nuttiness
T: very nice coffee flavor with some mild doughy breads
M: medium to lighter body with good carbonation.
O: this style of beer really allows the coffee to shine because it is so mild flavored to begin with. This isn't anything extraordinary but if you like coffee you will probably like this beer.

Very interesting! Had this on tap at Spoonwood with Leah. At times I think I get coffee, but then again I'm not sure that I can. Very drinkable! All I can say that this is a good original be that is great on a warm day (or cold for that matter) to quench the thirst!
Second time around...Spoonwood Brewing, 2/26/22, at the bar. Enjoying again!
