Appearance: So there is a thing as too much carbonation, and this beer sums is it. I poured maybe a little aggressively and got less then a pinky of body and a full glass of head, which got dumped. So I tried again, far more delicately and a third of a pint of body, the rest head. It did lace and retained too well. Sipping bubbles till I poured out to a reasonable level. The body itself is a crazy carbonated cloudy yellow.

Smell: Until the carbonation cleared up, this beer was maybe a faint whiff of pineapple juice. After it cleared, it's a sour whiff of pineapple juice. I guess no harm no foul here given that's what it is going for.

Taste: It's how I would imagine a mohito would taste, if you didn't have enough lime juice, so you swapped in pineapple to cover the rest of the drink, and didn't have any simple syrup or mint handy, and you used vodka. Maybe I got away from the review a bit, but to summarize, it's a mildly sour, pineapple seltzer with a touch of alcohol and maybe a hint of some strange generic bitter zest.

Mouthfeel: When I have to drain pour a portion of the beer, because there is too much head to get through to actually get the beer in my mouth, you are going to lose points here. The aftertaste is a mild touch of that pineapple sour that gives away to that generic bitterness, but here it's that peculiar club soda bitterness. Either way, it didn't last very long and I guess it's graceful in transitioning. Very mild though.

Drinkability: I guess, given that the ABV is 4.4% the intent here is to brew a light beer and add pineapple flavor to give it life. I guess in that regard, it has some merit, but I'm not finding when I would want to drink this. It's gassy even after it's down the hatch, light bodied in extreme and the carbonation hampers it from being refreshing.

Final Thoughts: Having encountered a string of sours, simply too sour for my liking. This mild offering I found to be an even greater disservice. It tastes like a sour pineapple spritzer that drinks like a light beer. I don't see the appeal here, or who you are going to win over with this beer. Maybe cocktail drinkers over the age of 80, who can't handle spirits anymore. Hard pass on this one.
