Poured from 330mL can into a tall kitchen glass. Best by 1/27/24.
Appearance: medium yellow hue with a moderate haze and a finger of frothy white foam. The foam does not stick around too long, however.
Smell: that's mango, all right! Sweet, tart, and earthy mango aroma sit atop a very faint malt base. The label says this is brewed with barley and wheat, but not much of that penetrates the mango. Still, I like the bright, fresh aroma.
Taste: earthy, sweet, and juicy, although less tart than the aroma suggested to me. I feel like I get a little bit more of the wheat malt here than in the aroma. It's not bad, but I think a pinch of tartness would do wonders here.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good level of carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: I'm not as much of a fan of this one as the cherry one, but if you like mango, or fruit beers in general, then it is probably worth checking out (if, of course, you're in Hungary).
