A blonde beer with all the character of a stout made with almonds, coffee, and cocoa nibs. Dark coffee and chocolate notes with a rich full body and sweet almond flavour.

Appearance: Pours with a mostly clear golden body that shows stead carbonation but a bit of smaller particulate. Not much to say about head as only a finger's worth appeared before quickly disappearing.
Smell: Dry barley malt with coffee and maybe a hint of cococa, needed a bit of warming to come out but it reached decent potency when it did.
Taste: Starts with the biscuit malt with a hint of chocolate that turns to some light bitter hopping. It's not quite what I was expecting, as it's a bit more basic then I expected.
Mouthfeel: Carbonation is solid and helps out the entire beer. The transitioning is ok, although I think I'd like a bit more sweetness at the start of things. Aftertaste is a mostly clean, dry mild chocolate biscotti vibe about it.
Drinkability: Medium bodied, and despite it's dryness it is refreshing enough. I wouldn't quite say it's something I'd want to drink in the heat though, and is more of a late fall drinker. Not the easiest drinker, but it's got a unique character to it.
Final Thoughts: Coffee beer's that aren't dark stouts tend to be hard to pull off, but this one works fairly well. I wouldn't want this very often, but as a late fall pick me up, yeah I'd probably grab this again. That said, it's not knocking anything out of the park, it very much something different and not often brewed for a reason.
