Poured on tap at Fieldwork's Sacramento tap room.
Look: Light golden. Pretty clear. Looks like a lager, really.
Smell: Lacking. The described "massive tropical aroma" was not present. I hardly smelled anything at all. Further into the pint I began to smell faint hints of pineapple and mango.
Taste: Dry as a bone is right. Hoppy and bitter, and really quite good. No distinct flavors.
Feel: Like I was drinking Chardonnay. Plus the hoppy bitterness. A crisp finish that lets the hops sit on your tongue asking for moisture to wash it away.
Overall: Not quite what I was expecting based on their description of it, but by no means a bad beer. I liked it for its straightforward bitterness and would definitely enjoy again.

This pours a light gold with nice foaming. Great hop forward aroma with a light citrus and grassy pine. Light bodied with a quick drying finish. Nice citrus character, easy enough to keep drinking.
