Poured ultra fresh on tap at Fieldwork in Berkeley.
Look: Gold as gold can be. Minimal head.
Smell: Whoa, melon overload. Plus some citrus fruit. Likely grapefruit.
Taste: Bitter and juicy blending together perfectly. Super tasty beer.
Feel: A lingering flavor of ripe honeydew melon sits on the tongue. Plus that necessary bitterness of a hoppy IPA. No heaviness at all, making this IPA very drinkable.
Overall: Spectacular IPA. Not as good as Pulp Free, but certainly one of my favorites. Incredibly drinkable yet distinctly flavorful. I would say one of the best showcases of a melon-forward IPA I've had.

Can into a tulip glass.
A: Bright golden with limited head with poor retention.
S: Pleasant earthy and floral nose, some subtle melon as it warms.
T: Follows nose well. Finishes with moderate bitterness, lingers slightly on the palate.
F: Medium bodied with high carbonation, lively on the tongue, slick on the swallow.
O: A pleasant West Coast IPA.
