So I dunno if I was just off my game or what, but I ordered a gose as a 6th beer in a 6 beer flight. Prolly should have been 2nd. Anyways, has a slightly hazy amber looking appearance with 1/4" white head on the top. The nose has quite a bit going on, there is the lighter than the appearance hay like yeast quality, a smidge of tart/sourness that is higher than average for style.
Taste continues with the 7.5/10 gose levels of sourness. But its eminently crushable and easy to drink. The light and dry hay notes continue. There is a mild grape and salt presence. This is enjoyable all around. Its earthy with heavier "feels" of an almost flanders like dimension (dirt, tobacco, leather, animal hide, bark) but remains firmly in the light/levity lane. Its definitely stronger than a gose should be, and I would love if there was a way to dial the strength down. Nonetheless, I'm shocked it works so well, on paper, this beer should be a mess. In reality, it pulls it off and maintains a nice balance between complexity and crushability.
First review that isn't nonsensical and/or laden with indecipherable aspects.

Liked the flavor. Look was a little boring. Bot much of head, bir active bubbles. Taste was nice and balanced. Expected more of the thpocal grpw described. Frank like a cider. Would pair nice with rhubarb dishes, strawberry, and such. Tart level is more moderate than apparent, not necessarily funky or overly tart.
