4.25/4/4.25/4.25/4.25
16oz pint at THG.
A: Pours a fairly clear medium golden with a cap of thin white foam. Rings of sticky lace were left down the glass.
S: Earthy and citrus hops with a solid bitterness to it.
T: Clean citrus pith and a touch of juicy sweet fruit nectar. Citrus juice and pith up front, slight tropical sweetness in middle, with a bitter pine finish. Light crackery malt backbone barely pokes through. Characteristic Fieldwork house flavor in the finish as well.
M: Crisp overall with clean bitterness and thick yet soft carbonation. Carbonation has a nice tingly quality as well. Scrubbing and refreshing. Medium body, soft fluffy mouthfeel with a crisp finish.
O: Solid, easy to drink, but forgettable.

Out of all of their great IPA's this one seemed to be missing something.
Light yellow in color, subtle piney aroma. It's drinkable for sure just not one I'll visit again.

Is this 7% listing correct? For having the word 'haze' in the name, this wasn't as hazy as I would have expected it. I guess all those other hazy ipas have put expectations so low in the appearance department that this will easily suffice in comparison. Anyways, yellow pour, thin, 1/3" white head. Aroma was honeydew melon kind of hop nose.
The taste keeps dropping a relative melon like taste, run of the mill bitterness and a juicy yet dry finish. Malt body is honey pale malt like. Dank weed like notes. I'm not one to complain about a body being thin or watery, but this one just seemed to be slightly lacking in that regard. Anyways, if this is 7% it hid it well even with a mild body.
