At fieldwork in sacto. Well, I'm not exactly sure what bier d garde is supposed to taste like, but if this is it it's pretty good. Light funk, not like extreme horse blanket, low carbonation, tastes of hardwood floor, carpet, faint bitterness. Easy to swallow. If you wait a minute between drinks it finishes very sweet. Like an antique beer if you can imagine. This thing can't be easy to brew.
