From atop our brewery's roof, if the sun shines hard enough to burn away the bay's semi-permanent blanket of fog, we are gifted beautiful views of sail boats dancing across the San Francisco Bay. Daydreams of what it's like to be on one of those boats float through our heads as sweat from the brewday drips to the ground. While on the boats they are enjoying their tiki drinks, we'll alleviate the heat with some Fog Ripper. Inspired by a blend of the Fog Cutter and Zombie Punch tiki drinks, our Fog Ripper is soured to the point of mouth puckering acidity and then is fermented with passion fruit, red sour cherries, oranges, limes, and Mosaic hops. The result is an over the top fruity Catamaran of a sour beer.

One of Fieldworkâs most balanced and delicious Kettle Sours. Obviously inspired by tiki drinks and you can really taste the cherries, oranges and lime. More please!!

I thought it was a pretty cool color, looks like guava colored fruit juice. Aroma is similar. Lacto, kettle soured, hops and beerness are downplayed.
Taste, I mean, it tasted good. Reminded me of sweet and sour pork. Wasn't necessarily the most beer centric, or even hop focused ipa.
I dunno, make it hazy and in a difficult to obtain can, people lose their minds and trade their loons for it. I think if it had a better hop presence it would stand out more as a better beer.

Can not say enough about the beers coming out of this brewery. Another good one, great aroma not as tart as you would think, nice and smooth. Looks like they are knocking out more then just IPA's

Pretty forgettable kettle sour. Tasted like fruit punch with some lactobacillus. It did not taste like a beer at all which is not a positive attribute.
