32oz growler, filled on 8.4.17, poured into a stemless wine glass. Enjoyed on 8.20.17, reviewed from Tasting Journal.
The beer pours a bright golden color, copper hues with nice clarity and a foamy white head with good retention and nice lace. The aroma is pleasant, piney hops, a bit floral with some grassy and dank qualities with some citrus and grapefruit peel sitting on a soft pale grain backbone. The flavors are good, bitter pine straight away, soft citrus, tangy and bitter citrus peel, lightly fruity with some dank grassy hops and a crisp, biscuity pale grain finish. The mouthfeel is good, coating medium body, lively carbonation that is smooth and finishes with a dry bite.
Verdict: A very nice west coast style pale ale. Tons of "C" hop flavors, nicely balanced, very easy going at 5.6%. Approachable, refreshing and a great example of the style.

Just a killer pale ale. Fieldwork thrives more in the pale and IPA market, IMO, than the DIPA. (That's a general rule - exceptions exist.) Floral and dank. A bit of a soft feel in the middle but then it crisps up as a pleasant bitterness comes in. Killing a crowler is no issue. One of their better efforts imho.

Simply outstanding. This could stand up to any IPA out there. Fieldwork has been killing it lately.
