Galaxy Sauce is the eponymous imperialized version of our Galaxy Juice IPA. Big, sticky, juicy, and hazy; this Double IPA drinks like a cloud of pineapple that rains its juicy perfection down onto your fortunate taste buds with a satisfying reprieve. The mild malt character lends a hint of sweetness to the abundance of Galaxy hops, making the tropical hop punch stick to your lips ever so slightly. The jacked up ABV works as an intoxicating catalyst of flavor, cranking up all aspects up this beer to the point of saturation. Bursting at the seams with Galaxy greatness, you won’t even need to lift the glass to smell its vibrant aroma. With the same soft bitterness as its little brother but with an even bigger and juicier body; Galaxy Sauce is the IPA you already loved, we just fit more of it into your glass.

The look and nose made me expect a nice punch, but this landed flat for me. It’s good, but I wonder if I would enjoy the single version of this better.

really great beer here, an awesome expression of galaxy hops and one i was shocked to learn was this strong, it drinks like a creamy, smooth, and mellow 6% abv or so, north of 9% abv is almost shocking to me. its very fresh, hazy and dense looking but not sloppy, orange tinted, frothy headed, rich and thick like shaving cream or beaten egg whites on top, great retention, lots of lace on it, prettier than most of these. i think anyone with even a little familiarity with galaxy hops will be able to call them out from one sniff of this, its limey, tropical, herbaceous, bright, and without almost any pine, dank weed, or bitterness, three quite common elements in hops, so it stands out as unique right away. lime leaf, lemongrass, raw coconut, fleshy papaya, even floral honey and bee balm in the hops to me, juicy but in a distinctive way, nothing generic about this at all. very southern hemisphere in its essence, and despite the starchy look this has, its not all heavy and hazy for the sake of it, its creamy and velvety and everything seems to have a purpose and a place. this has a wonderful linger on the swallow, kiwi fruit, lemon starburst candy, even a vanilla hit, just killer. no sign of the alcohol here at all, not a ton of carbonation but i like the softness a lot, and very little bitterness, no bite at all, not overdone, super well refined as the hazy ones go. special beer, thankful to have shared this from a fresh crowler with new friends. among the best hoppy beers ive had from fieldwork!

Was very hopeful as Galaxy Juice is one of my favorite FW hazies, but this doesn't live up to it for me. Good aroma, but a bit boozy and muddled. All of the Galaxy hop flavors are just a step back from the greatness that is Galaxy Juice.

Sweet-pineapple, slightly bready/yeasty, whiff of booziness, hoppy nose on this one! Taste follows with pineapple sweetness upfront...and then a really muted and subdued hoppy bitterness on the finish and swallow. A citrus-like bittereness becomes more and more prominent as it warms, though. This has fantastic depth and feels really good on the palate...very soft/fluffy. I had this on tap and now out of the can and it is much better out of the can! Very Good!

This Citra Orange Juice Hazy Non Translucent Overly Sweet concoction is truly amazing... The strength is masked well @ 9.3%.... The foam is the right bubbly... The freshness pops of Fruity... The linger is juicy on the tongue... A masterpiece of an IPA if you need to escape the Hoppy Dominance with mystical hints of sherbert... Key Lime Pie is a distant cousin that's gets you buzzin...

16oz can poured into a tulip

A- pours a murky orange-yellow color with a one-finger foamy white head that reduces to a ring around the glass

S- smells like fresh tropical fruit juice; bold notes of passionfruit, guava, ripe peach, cantaloupe, grapefruit zest, pineapple. The juicy aromas just jump out of the glass

T- bursting with juicy notes of guava, passionfruit and mango up front, followed by notes of zesty grapefruit, peach & apricot. The finish gives notes of green melon and ripe cantaloupe, lingers of citrus zest and passionfruit. The juiciest of juice bombs

M- medium body with moderate carbonation leads to a foamy and murky mouthfeel that continues into a creamy semi-dry finish

O- one of the best galaxy ipa's I've had, bold and juicy throughout, fantastic

L - 1-finger fizzy offwhite head atop a creamy yellow opaque body.

S - pineapple, grapefruit, tangerine. You can smell this across the room, and it smells wonderful.

T - follows the nose. Super-tropical with just a hint of dank. Low bitterness. No sweetness. Low booziness.

F - medium-full body with lower carb.

O - a near-perfect ipa, and an absolutely perfect use of Galaxy hops.

The beer pours out a completely hazy glowing yellow orange color, with no head------------- the aromas are of an abundance of tropical fruit highlighting on pineapple, peach, orange and mango--------------- the flavors are juicy af!!!!! With pineapple, peach and mango with lesser grapefruit and basil, this beer has a full mouthfeel with a light amount of bitterness on the finish----------------- overall this beer was amazing it's a juice bomb from start to finish, there were times I forgot I was drinking beer and thought it was a smoothie

Straight from the brewery in Berkeley, CA, Fieldwork doing great things. Haxy, juicy, citrusy, slightly dank. This has everything you would want in a NE style IPA. Hints of mango, pineapple, great malt balance. Highly recommend this one. I had a crowler fill that i drank about 12 days later [today] and it held up perfectly!

16oz can, undated but known fresh, poured into a Trillium Congress Street willibecher glass. Enjoyed on 8.22.17, reviewed from Tasting Journal.

The beer pours a super hazy and turbid goldenrod color, orange and amber hues with a foamy white head, good retention and tons of lace clings to the glass. The aroma is great, juicy stone fruits, peach and nectarine with some mango and citrus and some underlying lychee and white grape and some more grassy and floral aromas with a soft pale doughy malt backbone. The flavors are delicious, super juicy tropical fruits, really fruity with peach, lychee, mango and citrus with just a light white grape that brings out some acidity with a floral and green hop character that rests on a pale grain pillow of malt. The mouthfeel is good, coating full body, pretty heavy for an IPA but it's smooth and creamy with a dry finish.

Verdict: A very good DIPA from Fieldwork. Tons of fruity and bright Galaxy hops but the body is oddly heavy, though the 9.3% is expertly hidden. Juicy, bright, bursting with hops, a great hazy IPA.
