Crowler canned 1/18/19, consumed 1/24/19
Poured hazy & cloudy golden honey with a real nice creamy head, low retention, nice thick bands of lacing.
Taste & aroma of tropical and citrus fruits, rinds, and peels with just a bit of herbal/weedy notes. Aroma is a bit light strength, but it's all there in the taste - I love this fruit/weed combo flavor.
Feel is medium, good carbonation, low bitterness - really drinks like a regular hazy even though it's a stiff double in ABV.
Overall, another nice, enjoyable hazy from Fieldwork. Compares with the better double hazies out here.

First beer on New Year’s Eve ‘19, 2:30 in the afternoon
On draft and poured into a large tulip glass at Berkeley taproom
L: Looks like honeycomb, very hazy
S: Hops galore. Citrusy, a distinct orange bouquet, the Amarillo terpenes sing
T: Wow. Big citrusy hops up front well balanced by malt backbone with dry and bitter finish, almost resinous, pure deliciousness. Hints of pineapple and peach come through
F: Creamy, Guinness like mouthfeel. Very refreshing, easy to drink, especially for a double
O: Another delicious hop bomb for all the hop heads out there, not to be missed

Stellar IPA from Fieldwork. I had this on tap, and the moment that the glass was brought over to me, I could literally smell the fruity hop aroma, and that's on a half-pint too! The moment I finished this, I wanted more. Sadly, it must have run out fast at Fieldwork. The beer had a golden murky color. The aroma was rich, fleshy pineapple and mango, coupled with citrus. A dank hop aroma permeated the senses. The flavor was delicious, and followed the nose. Very balanced malt backing, with smooth tropical hop flavors caressing the tongue. Delicious.

Hazy, pale orange with one finger head in a tulip glass. Smells like roasted pineapple, orange and grass. Sweet citrus , pineapple and bitter hops. All flavors are well balanced. Mild carbonation with a medium to full bodied feel.

Always looking for a different ipa and had this on tap after drinking an older bottle of Simtra with a friend. Nicely balanced, some mango and Citrus. Very cloudy and slightly dry, which makes it different. Very nice.

Draught pour at Davis Beer Shoppe into a shaker pint. Murky orange bronze and left ringed lacing. Plenty of mango on the nose, but a bit mute in general. Taste is more dynamic, lots of mango and citrus and papaya undertones. Finishes with some bitterness and astringency, both clear relatively quickly. Medium bodied and carbonation, slightly creamy. Really nice DIPA, just wanted more dynamic nose. Enjoyed enough I got a second pint.
