oh shoot, it doesn’t taste like 10% alcohol! it presents like a nice, buttery, rich IPA in the California style of top shelf IPAs. golden, like our state, and hoppy but very refined. smell is dank and almost sour. feel is sudsy yet thick.

Bone-dry, bold, and unapologetically Westcoast, this big-hitting DIPA balances bready British malts with a massive Mosaic, Simcoe, and Krush (T90, Cryo, Dynaboost) hop load. Bursting with juicy melon, grapefruit zest, honeydew, blueberry, red currants, citrus punch, Muscat grape, and passion fruit, it finishes with resinous pine and just a hint of indo. Big bitterness, big flavor—low yield, no regrets. [hops: Mosaic, Simcoe, Krush] (Source: Fieldwork Brewing)

Love the aroma on this beer.
Dank dank dank. Clear west coast style. Big aroma. Big flavor. Big ABV—watch out! This is a beer best enjoyed at home, but I had it at the source.

Picked up a 6 pack of this during SFBW I believe. Damn, 9.3 lbs of hops per barrel! Wowza! Pours a hearty light orange and amber color with a 1/3" white head. The aroma was big in February, but after about 4 weeks, it died off. Nonetheless, it was a good mix of some tropical fruit notes via Mosaic's dankness and pine like notes from the Equinox I guess.
Taste was one of the most bitter beers I've had lately. Damn. There is a slight sweetness, but I wouldn't mistake a beer with 9.3 lbs of hops per barrel as a "balanced" beer no matter how hard the commercial tug job says it is, and my taste buds don't lie. When it was fresher, it did have less of a pronounced bitterness to it. Nonetheless, I still appreciated it 3 months later (final can of the 6 pack). Big alcohol punch on this one. You feel it after just one can. Massive bowl of stickiness all throughout the mouth feel on this one til the end of the can. A slight amount of trub at the bottom.
Overall, a cool beer to come across in 2018.

A bright gold and brilliantly clear, Nine Trizzay is capped by a thin foamy white collar that disappears.
Insane mango. This thing is loaded with this tropical fruit aroma intensely.
The flavor is bold mango as well. A little melon, a little pine, and a little sugary sweetness. Some alcohol cones through as well.
The slightly low carbonation and thin but boozy feel don't exactly do much for me. As a west coast styled beer, I was welcoming some intense bitterness, but this seemed pretty balanced. If anything, maybe on the sweet side.
The aroma takes the cake for this beer. It was overall pretty enjoyable, and a good beer, but didn't really excite me like I was hoping. Cheers.
