Crowler canned and consumed 2/28/19

Pours very hazy & cloudy with that Tropicana orange juice look. Creamy, finger-sized white head with solid retention and nice bands of lacing.

Really enjoy the aroma, terrific blend of tropical and melon fruits with just the right amount of complementary citrus and herbal hop notes.

Taste strays from the balance of the aroma, more prominent herbal & grassy flavor with great juiciness but the fruit profile less distinct. This is still some tasty stuff and compares favorably to most hazies out here.

Feel is smooth, med/light in body, solid carbonation, low bitterness, and a bit of noticeable astringency that fades the more I drink.

Overall, another great Fieldwork single hazy. Friggin' love the hop burps. Absolutely will pick this up again.

Had on tap at local Fieldwork.
L: murky in appearance, very hazy. Very vibrant yellow color with nice frothy cap. Moderate lacing.
S: very grassy on the nose, with generous amount of citrus. Slight yeast presence.
T: follows the nose. Citrus initially with a grassy/pine finish. Very mild yeast present taste-wise.
F: medium in body and weight. Not as pillowy as other offerings by them but nice feel. Moderate carbonation for the style.
O: tasty. I’m grateful to have tried.

I can't quite peg the aroma or initial flavor, see more sophisticated reviews for that, but it's really nice and unique.

Dropping in for the final selection on a SFBW flight of (6) beers, we have sticky bandit. It was also my favorite of the bunch. Prime yourself for the double ipa festival.

Pours an almost glowing canary yellow color with 2/5" white head. Holy moly do they drape the entire nose with ample Mosaic and Citra hops, bursting with tropical fruit smells. Waves of it.

Taste, oh nice, not as sticky or any caramel like my mind was working overtime thinking about based on the name. This is a super light malt body and just gobs of Mosaic and Citra hops. They didn't reinvent the wheel, they took the blueprint and just said "moar" of that. Mouth feel is just dank ass citrus and tropical fruit from the hops. Malt bill, what malt bill? Some flaked oats and 2 row barely toasted in minimal amounts. Hops, like Ludacris said are in Large amounts.

Fieldwork already makes world class hoppy beers, but in a flight with a bunch of hoppy beers, this was the best. I fully look forward to scoring a 6 pack of this beer some day.

Draught pour at Sac FW taphouse into a tulip glass.

L: Pours hazy white yellow with half finger of medium density white head with minimal retention and left minimal lacing.

S: Very tropical, lots of melon, floral and citrus undertones.

T: Follows the nose but with much more citrus prominence. Finishes with mild bitterness and mild astringency, both clear palate quickly.

F: Thinner bodied with medium carbonation, slight tongue tingle from the carbonation and astringency, slick finish.

O: Very interested to try the cans in a week. Might be a bit green now for my palate and preferences, but I still liked this quite a bit.
