Gotta agree with Lucius and Godbeer... slight honeyed pear flavors, low bitterness, and gentle alcohol finish. Gravy look is spot on...DIPA never would've guessed?

Sweet citrus hoppy nose on this one! Taste follows with sweet honey-citrus bitterness bite that is somewhat subdued for a DIPA. This has a nice depth and mouthfeel to it and it is not overly boozy for 9% ABV.

Tons of melon and stone fruit hop aroma and flavor. Super soft on the palate. Very tasty beer.

Had this in a flight a few months ago, impressed enough to pick up a crowler to take home too. Looks like chicken/turkey gravy. Its unfiltered. 1/3" white head. Aroma, gotta assume there is El Dorado hops here, kinda reminds me a little bit of that emeralds beer they have, its got a definite "green" edge to it forest wise.
Taste bangs that greenness forward as well. It's driving me out of my mind, that green ain't hard to find. It's 9% so there is some alcohol to it, but its still easier to drink than most 9% things. Kinda lower bitterness. I'm not getting the heavy pineapple like others say, getting more pine than pineapple. Some pear notes. I just don't find El Dorado to be as strong as many people make it out to be. I don't get a bunch of stone fruit and watermelon in addition to finding its pineapple properties lacking compared to say Galaxy. They're here, but not in a sturdy way.
Overall, its a real cool pop culture shoutout name, and a very good beer, but probably just average for Fieldwork's stellar production of hoppy beers in general. First guy to review this beer, whoot! There should be just as much in karma points for that as opposed to just listing it first.
