1st review of this beer on BA. Drank this at the inaugural hazy ipa festival on April 14, 2018 which was held within the 21st annual ipa festival at the Bistro. Pours a lightly bright colored yellow and light amber color with average haze for category/subgenre, 1/2" of head that reveals better carbonation than most hazies here today.
Aroma pops Mosaic, ain't nobody better say Fieldwork doesn't bring the aromatics, here it is. Taste has a bit of bitterness paired with more Mosaic tropical notes with dankness. Good combo move. Belma has kind of a bitter tea feel to me that is thankfully overshadowed by those Mosaic notes. Body is light but carbonated, alcohol isn't too powerful in the mouth feel. Good clean, dry, bitter aftertaste that is satisfying. Definitely one of the better hazy ipas to be had on this day. Fieldwork has a few of these older school hybrid like beers that are using new proprietary bittering hops (as well as some straight older school ones) that work and stand out.
