Here here! Raul likes this beer. Like a hummingbird taking a dip and then maybe a little sip, this one contents Raul well. Lush and supreme, Raul almost feels redeemed. For what, I don’t know. But I am just in this moment, and I will enjoy it to the last drop.
Peace!

This pours a white-gold color, with a light haze and a creamy cap. Big aroma from the pour, almost startling how fresh. Lots of lemony lemon, freshly squeezed and zested. On the back I get a touch of pine, a hint of melon, and a smooth citrusy finish. Delicious.

L - massive fluffy head atop a translucent yellow body.
S - melon, herb, citrus.
T - very unusual. Lots of lemon, melon, and mixed berry. Candy. A little vegetal. Clean middle. Low bitterness. Moderate sweetness. Low booziness.
F - medium body and carb.
O - a different take on a NE IPA. Reminds me of Tired Hands’ experimental ipas.

Canned 5/24/18. Really liking the can art on this, very fitting for a Memorial Day release.
Look: Cloudy yellow with 2 fingers of head. The head settles and leaves loads of residual lacing.
Smell: Loads of orange, grapefruit and lemon, with some papaya, mango and pineapple. The hops are earthy and grassy smelling. Touch of sweetness on the nose which is pleasant.
Taste: Up front with lemon, orange, grapefruit. I am also getting a pleasant stonefruit sweetness, which really reminds me of a sweet peach or nectarine. The hop flavor is lemongrassy, with a nice bitterness which balances out the fruit flavor. Man, I am loving this beer.
Feel: Medium in body and weight, but has a slight gritty texture. Carbonation is moderate for the style. Very smooth and easy drinking.
Overall: This is one of my favorite Fieldwork IPAs I have yet to have. For an NEIPA, it ranks up there with my favorites. It is very easy drinking, and the fruit and hop complexity compliments eachother. My only regret is not buying more. I am very grateful I picked this up. Cheers to the veterans and their families.
