You know that scene in every horror movie where the protagonist peeks behind the door, fully knowing they shouldn’t—but they do anyway? That’s kinda what brewing Scream, Citra, Scream! felt like. We knew dumping an unreasonable, scream-inducing amount of Citra hops into a hazy IPA would unleash pure, citrus-soaked chaos… and yet, we did it anyway. This thriller of a beer hits you with a bloodcurdling blast of orange marmalade, pulpy tangerine juice, and just a whisper of sweet toffee lurking in the shadows. The addition of Citra Dynaboost cranks everything up to full volume—with high-pitched, final-girl scream levels of juicy intensity. Hazy, hoppy, and horrifyingly drinkable, Scream, Citra, Scream! is the kind of beer that keeps you on the edge of your seat and is loud enough to wake the neighbors. (Source: Fieldwork Brewing)

Had a crowler of this the day before the Firestone Walker Festival 2018. Sweet Rocket from the Crypt/vampire reference, I think Fieldwork has more in common w their beer names and my music taste than any other brewery.
Pours yellow, leans towards the hazy designation. White head. No doubt they did not skimp on the Citra hop, all the tangelo, tangerine, cantelope and orange you can shake a dick at. Its a lot of citrus going on here, probably indistinguishable from Pulp if side by side. Just that citrus melon impact through and through. Has all the requisite soft touches of Citra without a ton of bitterness. Has a little bit of hop burn but nothing we couldn't handle.
Taste is pretty standard heavy Citra hopped ipa for Fieldwork. That is a compliment. Its basically like Pulp but with another cool band reference beer name. Carbonation was fine on this one. I would purchase if I saw it in cans.

Pours a vigorous hazy straw color. Lots of citra on the nose, light and disappointingly dull. I had hoped for it to pop, as citra can. There's citra's notes of citrus and some melon on the taste. Muted, muddled finish.
