Draught pour at Davis Beer Shoppe in a mug.
A: Pours murky brown orange with limited head and minimal retention though did leave small amount of ringed lacing.
S: Nose is pleasant but a bit mute. Lots of melon (cantaloupe and honeydew), perhaps hints of peach.
T: More dynamic than the nose, very tropical and juicy. Aspects of the nose are now augmented by citrus zest. The peach of the nose seems more like nectarine on the taste.
Finishes with mild bitterness and moderate astringency, astringency lingers a bit.
F: Medium bodied with medium carbonation, slight lip and tongue burn from the astringency and carbonation, creamy feel on the tongue and swallow.
O: Another solid hazy IPA from FW. Not in their top tier for me, but I'd definitely have again happily.
