People Power is a craft beer movement started by Threes Brewing out of Brooklyn to raise money for the ACLU. Deeply inspired by their altruism we decided to join in the movement and brew an IPA to aid in the ACLU fundraising effort. While "Pride" is an often misallocated term, we felt it described our sentiment for the Bay Area and its role in the Civil Rights Movements of the 1960s. To pay respect to the thousands who have marched, picketed, sat-in, chained themselves up, and spoken up, we will be packaging People Power with 6 different labels. Each label documents historic sites in the Bay Area that were pivotal in the Bay's Civil Rights involvement. We thank everyone who has fought and those that continue to fight for equality everywhere in this great nation. Thank you to everyone that buys this beer to help us support the important work the ACLU does. We hope this isn't the last our industry sees of People Power because the cause lives on.
