Like throwing a disco party in a fruit salad, C+C Mosaic Factory is a full-on celebration of everything Mosaic hops can do. It turns up the juice, cranks the haze, and lays down a groove of dank tropical madness. Right out of the gate, it hits with a tidal wave of overripe mango, blueberry gummies, and citrus peel swagger. There’s a sticky-icky edge of dank pine hiding in the folds, like a resin-coated handshake from your neighborhood weed dealer. It’s got that smooth, slow-burn power. Silky soft, but not shy about flexing. We double down on the Mosaic, then double down again, because restraint is boring and this DIPA is anything but. Saturated, pillowy, and brimming with juicy bravado, C+C Mosaic Factory doesn’t just bring the funk... it builds the whole damn dance floor. (Source: Fieldwork Brewing Co.)

Hazy (not murky) appearance, but more of a hybrid than NEIPA taste. Lots of great Mosaic attributes (dank with some berries) on both the nose and taste with a full but not quite fluffy mouthfeel, though with some tongue tingling from acidity and carbonation.

Sweet, another beer I'm writing the first review for. This was a beer I had on November 10, 2018 flight at Fieldwork in Berkeley (after the barrel aged fest!). Is a hearty orange color kind of ipa. Thin off white head on the top of it. Boatloads of that Mosaic dankness in the nose. They did not skimp. Loads of tropical fruited marijuana all over this one.
Taste was impressive, as the bitterness is subdued to a point that you think 95% of the hops were used late stage after boil was done and whatnot. Man they used a lot of hops here. Alcohol well hidden in the mouth feel, just the slightest prick of it. Body is light, almost brut like but not quite. Fieldwork does a really good job at keeping their beers out of caramel territory.
Overall its just a delicious beer that does everything very well. Fieldwork is an elite player in the hoppy game.
