I'm always amazed how a really popular brewery like Fieldwork can have me, the guy who visits a couple times a year, writing the first review for a beer. Cool I guess. Pours a hazy yellow meets orange color with a 3/5" white head. So these Idaho 7 hops, I think I was only exposed to previously in the Rogue beers? Seems like a mixture of all the aromatic hop descriptors: pine, citrus, tropical fruit. . . it was discernable from the Simcoe though despite having similarities with it.
Taste was nice, bitterness was run of the mill for a hazy, hop flavors were definitely pushed by the Simcoe, for a double, it was easily drinkable nor a harsh 8.5%, well covered up by a good body that isn't flabby nor lightweight. Just another example of a really good beer from Fieldwork that probably gets lost in the shuffle of world class ipas. It drops some usual flavors like grapefruit and pine with a bit of conventional and under the radar hops. Good for the Idaho 7 exposure.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
