Rye Like a Champion is a throwback to the Westcoast IPAs of yore. Simple with a focus on bitterness with a bit of body and malt character, followed by big hop aromas and a clean finish. Rye malt aids in giving this classic IPA a nice slick mouthfeel and dry finish, leaving our favorite piny and citrusy hops to do what they do best. Simcoe and Chinook team up to provide complimentary hop flavors of lemongrass, pine needles, guava, and grapefruit pith that slosh around with a timeless hop character that is not necessarily juicy nor dank, making it truly an IPA flavored IPA.

Solid bitter WCIPA. Will definitely grab again for more formal review.
