Sampled at Fieldworkâs Monterey location.
L: served in a handsome tulip glass as part of a sampler flight. Rich, golden color with minimal lacing. Somewhat cloudy appearance interrupted by tiny bubbles along the side of the glass. Not as pale as the name would suggest.
S: dry yeast quaffs with a hint of lemongrass and esters. Some funky hop hues toward the end of the sample.
T: a bit a sweet malt that is immediately cut short by a dry, funky finish.
F: perfectly carbonated. Esters sat on the back of the tongue and helped perpetuate the dry finish.
O: fairy straightforward representation of the type. Very enjoyable; would definitely recommend.
