Wow! Sweet, tropical piney dank nose on this Westie! Taste follows exactly with a sweet pineapple juicy feel and dank, subdued bitterness on the finish. This is so well-balanced and smooth...and it has a juiciness to it that is almost hazy-like! There is an absolutely great mouthfeel on this bad boy. Great!

Wow, nice to see the previous 3 reviews and mine will all be on the same page. Dis beer is gud. These guys already keep their maltiness to a bare minimum in the hoppy stuff, and this one is even light for their standards in that department.
Pours out an innocent enough light brass/gold kind of appearance with professional grade clarity and a 1/3" white head. Hefty punch of Mosaic hops. These guys must by that hop by the metric ton. Literally. All the tropical fruit, dank weed and grapefruit notes on this one.
Taste is pushed bitterness wise moreso by the Idaho7 hop that gives it the more bitter grapefruit like edge. Beer is really lacking in all the bullshit they put in ipas these days, no flaked this, no juicy that, no milkshake in a yard, no turbid haze gloop at the bottom. Hell, for the lack of malt, it really makes this beer just below 9% drink pretty effortlessly. Mosaic taste still pushes the fruity components without going into sweet or sugary territory. Super enjoyable. Would bang in cans if given the chance. Also this was the 6th beer in a 6 beer flight in Berkeley.

Poured from a crowler into a glass. Straw color - just a bit of haze - but definitely not a hazy DIPA. Aroma is a nice combination of hoppy dankness and tropical fruit. Taste is very similar to the aroma - the danky resinous of a west coast IPA - but notes of juicy, tropical fruit abound. There's a bit of an effervescent bite at the back end - a nice tingly feeling going down. Overall: this is an excellent example of the marriage between two distinct styles of IPA. I can see IPA fans who like either the west coast style or the NE style really enjoying this - just as I did.

Draught pour at FW Sac taproom
Outstanding clear uber dank DIPA that's very drinkable, hides ABV extremely well, and (for someone that loves dank IPAs) is outstanding for my palate and preferences. Grabbed a growler to go, great stuff!

Crowler canned 2/3/19, consumed 2/10/19
Poured crystal clear honey gold with a decent inch head, low retention, and left a little bit of lacing.
Aroma is very fruity, bright citrus and melon notes. Taste follows exactly, very zesty juicy.
Feel is a tame medium, good carbonation with very low bitterness. Very clean, dry finish.
Overall, an outstanding clear DIPA, extremely low bitterness like hazies but with a clean, top quality WCIPA feel.
