Collaboration with MadeWest Brewing Company
This edition of Losers' Club gives us all warm fuzzy feelings. For its 5th iteration the Losers' Club is inducting our friends MadeWest Brewing out of Ventura California. In their short time since opening their doors they've been busy winning World Beer Cup, GABF, and just about any medal under the sun for their amazing beer. Finally, they are going to get a proper taste of losing; in our collaborative Double IPA they've thrown at it a boat load of Mosaic and Simcoe hops, one of our favorite hop combinations that makes this Double IPA stink of passionfruit, grapefruit, lemongrass, and ripe melon. Then for the icing on this hoppy cake they tossed in a bit of Eureka hops to give it some sticky resinous characteristics with a hint of dank weed

Pours hazy & cloudy yellow/light orange with a small head, low retention and good amount of spotty lacing.
Aroma is a juicy blend of melons, tropical & citrus fruits. Just a wee tad bit on the lighter side of the strength level.
Taste has all that aroma juice in full mixed in with some danky, resinous herbal flavors to boot.
Medium/full feel, really nice smooth, creamy feel, med/low bitterness.
Overall, loved it, yet another in Fieldwork's terrific hazy lineup which stands out as some of the best of the West.
