Pours oily black but with almost no head that quickly dissipated, very low retention and minimal lacing.
Dense, rich aroma of bourbon barrel, chocolate, peanuts, coconut, and cake. Smells like this is gonna be really sweet.
And yes, it is just that sweet. Dessert stout all the way. Taste blends all of the elements very nicely.
Feel is very thin with just minimal carbonation. Smooth without alcohol burn, but this would benefit greatly from a much fuller body.
Overall, a nice tasty dessert treat. Can I had was cellared for 8 months.

A hint too sweet for me but otherwise very solid imperial stout.

Bourbon barrel aged imperial milk stout brewed with toasted coconut, peanuts, honey, chocolate, vanilla beans, nutmeg and milk sugar.
Poured from the can into a tulip glass. Dark appearance, leaves minimal leggings on the glass. For all the adjuncts that are in this beer, the peanuts seem to dominate the aroma, with subtle hints of coconut and the nutmeg underneath.
Taste is very nice; adjuncts work together in harmony, nothing really dominates. Mouthfeel is very smooth, not too thick, though.
Overall: very nice! Maybe just a bit sweet, but very enjoyable!
