We're not the first brewery that fell in love with an IPA that we had at a restaurant that turned out to be the abandoned mainstay of a kidnapped beer style, only to lose it to a hazier version of the same style who is now everyone's desert island beer, who then turned out 5 years later to be the leader of the French underground. Thankfully this mildly bittered IPA that is void of malt character and exceedingly clear and dry is still sticking around. The lion's share of hop character comes from a blend of Southern Passion and Eureka hops to give that old school profile with a new school feel. Classic hops notes of citrus, pine and weed lead the way with more subtle notes of peach rings and apricot that follow up the back. If you miss the classic Westcoast IPAs of yore then this one for sure will take 30 minutes just to get the smile off your face.
