Orange color, hazy. Foam is fine but thin. Smells hoppy, cypress, orange soda and some metallic brilliance smell. It’s medium body, creamy and soft. The beer have strong orange flavor. It have the orange zest and orange peel oily burst, pair with a light sweet flavor it’s very easy to drink. And we know human loves citrus flavor, so it’s everyone’s love. Although it says Mosaic, Citra and Amarillo hops are used, but I found the Citra is the dominant flavor profile. The yeast is tropical, with light pineapple aroma, strong mandarin and orange aroma, at the end it shows light leafy green salad’s freshness but not a lot. The future flagship is a bit flat to me. To be clear, if you are looking for a NE-style IPA this is a good one. Probably you can’t critic it too much even compare to a treehouse green IPA. But between other sibling one-off release from Fieldwork this is not that impressive. I get some feeling of tannin in the beer, probably is from the hops, which leaves a hint of tart and aluminum mouth taste (not that pleasant). When it’s warmer I can sense the Mosaic’s weedy and earthy Arugula herbal spice, that makes the hops flavor more complex. So overall it’s a good hazy IPA.

Tried this on multiple occasions on tap and canned and it does not disappoint. Great color with a hint of dankness with a supple feel. If you come across it, grab some and share.

This was the 4th beer as part of a 6 beer flight on 2/8/20. Pours a relatively unattractive hazy bronze like color with 1/3" white head. It gets better. Aroma imparts the usual roundings of the Citra hop, citrus and tropical, mostly lemon, orange and passion fruit like notes. The Mosaic didn't deliver its usual pungent dankness. It was there, just was kind of getting drowned out by the other 2 aroma hops (Amarillo being the other one). For having 3 aroma hops, and it being Fieldwork, it just didn't push hard like a lot of their beers would aroma wise, but what was there did have all the usual descriptors of a dry hopped beer in this day and age.
Taste was nice. Had plenty of juicy hop notes, a little bit of bitterness and a fluffy textured body. Nothing to really stand apart from a lot of the 323 different hoppy beers they make. Good, for sure, unique, hardly. Sure it has the medley of stone fruit, citrus and tropical, but lacks the snap, body, elite aroma notes that keep this from climbing into a top tier Fieldwork offering. Good enough to have again, but there are a few others I would recommend first.
