Logic Gate is a new IPA and we're really happy with how creamy the mouthfeel on this IPA is. Our new crop year of Citra is in and we are getting really nice notes of Orange Julius, Lemonheads, and papaya off of them. While we don't use Waimea hops often they are one of our favorites to use when they are available putting off really unique notes of tangerines and cantaloupe.

Sweet and juicy, tropical hoppy, and orange-tangerine citrus nose on this one! Taste follows with a tropical hoppy and citrus bitter finish...a dank hoppy kick on the backend comes out more as it warms. This has a pretty nice mouthfeel for a single...good batch!

Pours a hazy, creamy looking orange color. 2 finger fluffy white head. There's a bit of lacing on the glass. Head retention is decent.
The nose hit me when I was pouring with a nice citrus aroma. Up close it is a nice pineapple aroma.
Taste - Lots of pineapple here with a backbone of grapefruit.
Soft mouthfeel. Creamy, and decent body.
A sold IPA, and I'm happy to try it.

1st review of this beer on BA. This was the 5th of a 6 beer flight consumed on 2/8/20 at the source in Berkeley. I also left with 2 cans of it, and I'm glad I did because the more looks you get at a beer, the more confident I am in a review.
Pours a hazy yellow that leans into orange color territory which was slightly more attractive than the beer before it (future flagship). 1/4" white head on top. Aroma was orange, tangerine and honeydew melon.
Taste was moderate in every way. Moderate bitterness, Simcoe doing Simcoe bitterness things here, a neat little aspect of the Waimea(?) hop was the melon meets sweet citrus vibe. Enjoyable. Stayed away from the tropical fruit thing, stayed away from the grapefruit and pine thing. The body wasn't heavy on flaked wheat/oats, but even if it was, Simcoe did a good job of providing a moderate bitterness to keep the flour power at bay. Overall pretty good stuff and a relatively unique hop bill. Would recommend. Was slightly better in the can, but then again it wasn't 5th in the lineup that way.
