Had this at the Bistro 20th double ipa festival on Feb 8 2020. Easily the worst smelling beer there, which I would have given like 1000:1 odds against, because normally Fieldwork is elite 1st tier aroma hops. Also odd given that we went to Fieldwork after the festival and they didn't have this beer on tap.
Anyways, looked normal, poured a quality looking bronze and gold color with 3/4" white head. The aroma was straight off putting, smelled a little bit like dog food. Did they use real burnt koala hair in this? Their Galaxy juice is great, so I'm not thinking this is the blame of the Galaxy hop, but Enigma and Vic Secret going on seem like the culprits. Or a dirty line, who knows (why I wanted to try it at their place and see if it was equally as bad smell wise). I couldn't get passed the smell when going for the taste, other than to see it wasn't as bad there as it was before. Mouth feel was fine, carbonation and all that appropriate. My partner said the same thing so I made sure it wasn't just me. A rare miss for Fieldwork.
