Consumed in October 2020, last can was up at Lizard Peak DGC. Pours a golden light amber color with respectable degree of clarity to it. 1/3" white head. Delicious smelling nose, is this Mosaic? Yes it is, all of that dankness, berry, papaya and pineapple stuff swirling. Columbus giving a supplementary strain of weed on the nose, nice and varied.

The taste is bouyed by the Columbus and Denali bitterness, but there is plenty of that dank weed and tropical fruit breathiness going on. There is a down under like hop presence to it, no doubt substantially overlapping with Mosaic. The body is nice and crisp allowing for all the hops to shine. Neutral yeast impression. This beer is built around the hops like almost every Fieldwork ipa grain in vain being the only exception I can think of to that statement.

Sultana hops are the same as Denali hops. The can label references Denali. Should call them McKinley hops then.

A nice solid West Coast IPA that isn't overly dynamic, but brings plenty of dank attributes and bitterness. I'm still not the biggest fan of Sultana hops, but they don't overpower the Mosaic and Columbus in this recipe.
